Family Vacation review

We have been coming to sandpiper cove for 20 years. It’s the best place to stay in Destin! We originally booked our stay for 7 nights but had to add one more night because we were having so much fun. This is the first time my family stayed in the #0018 house. We loved the size and location of the house but it did need some updates. It would have been nice to have a baby gate in the house to keep our kids safe from falling down the stairs. Also, the clothes washer smelled of mildew. A painting in our bathroom had a rip in it and there were stains in the carpet and on the couch. These things aren’t a huge deal breaker for my family but I thought it would be nice for the owners to know! We would rent here again! We loved how close the big pool was to our house and how we could see the harbor and the pond from our decks. Beautiful views!!! - Madison B., Piedmont, SC

Spring Break Stay

The unit was good for us as we had 7 people staying including five teenagers. But, the place was older and had issues such as the sink clogging up in the first floor bathroom. Also, paper towels and trash bags were not provided which meant we had to go at night to supply it ourselves. But, overall it met our needs fine. - Doug C., Birmingham, AL

Perfect location! Great condo for families!

We enjoyed our stay at #18 Sandpiper Cove. The two bedrooms with full baths downstairs worked perfectly for my parents in one side of the condo and my husband & myself on the other side. My 19 year old son enjoyed having his own space & bathroom upstairs. We have stayed at many of the condos at Sandpiper Cove over the years. This was one of the nicest & cleanest. The only problem we had was that the tvs would not work when we arrived, but maintenance fixed the problem within the first hour of us reporting it. The beach was a very short walk from the condo. We enjoyed many of the nearby restaurants while there. I’d definitely stay in this condo again & recommend to others. - Amy E., Laurel, MS

Spacious but that’s it...

Our condo was very sub-par cleaned and not stocked with anything as far as paper towels, toilet paper, or anything if that sort. The plumbing was terrible and sinks kept clogging. The first two hours trying to figure out what to do with my boat and trailer was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. Luckily a condo owner across the street was willing to help where Sandpiper wasn’t. I don’t know that I’ll be back here. But the size and location was pretty decent unfortunately that’s about it. - Anonymous, Florence, AL
